I have a friend in heaven
Who I talk to every night

He would make me laugh and smile
Whenever I was really down
He promised everything would be alright
And never let me down

I wish he was still here with me
I’m lonely without him
I still wait for his daily texts

He was so kind and always listened
Even when I rambled and ranted
Making his faces, jokes at my expense
And I would just turn around and laugh
Because everything was ok again

Any obstacle blocking the path ahead
He always could make it feel all better

so many moments of happiness
Countless memories filled with Laughter
And Only now after years passed by
I am just beginning to Fathom that
You actually have gone forever

I can’t imagine ever really accepting
Life without him always by my side
When He died, my world came to an end

I wish you were here,
but your not, Your there
and there doesn’t know how lucky it is

My grief is not because he passed away
It’s for all the things he’s done and
That will never get to do again
For those he left behind too early

I cry for the people he had yet to impact
I cry the lives he never got to touch
I cry for every year he is not here

I almost sense him sending me light

I wish heaven had a phone
so I Could hear your voice one more time
